Reservations

From 2024, you can reserve the cormorant fishing observation boat using the following method.

In addition to shared boats, you can also reserve chartered boats and Nagara River sightseeing boats online. Please also read this before making your reservation.

[Counter reservation] Please come directly to the Ukai viewing boat office.
Reservations start/April 19th (Friday) ~
Reception hours/10:00-17:30 (15:00-19:30 during cormorant fishing period)
Payment method/Cash or credit card (lump payment) at the Ukai viewing boat office counter

*Notes on making reservations

  • ・From this year, cancellation fees may apply when canceling or changing reservations. For more information, please check here.
  • ・The cormorant fishing period is from May 11th to October 15th. (Cormorant fishing is closed on September 17th.)
  • ・Reservation will be completed when payment procedure for boarding fee is completed.
  • ・Reservations cannot be made by phone.
  • ・The boarding fee does not include food and drinks. If you wish to bring your own, you will need to prepare it separately.
